Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

The International Journal of Business Strategy and Innovation (Int. J. Bus. Strategy Innov.) is an independent, self-financed open access journal. The journal does not receive financial support from any government, academic institution, or funding agency.

The journal is sustained through article processing charges (APCs) paid by authors upon acceptance of their manuscripts. These charges are solely intended to cover the costs associated with editorial management, peer review administration, production, hosting, and long-term digital preservation of published content.

As an open access publication, the journal ensures that all published articles are made freely and permanently available online without subscription or access fees.

Article Processing Charges:

  • Indian Authors: INR 2,800
  • Authors from Outside India: USD 150

No submission fees are charged at any stage of the review process. APCs are applicable only after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication following peer review.

The APC does not influence editorial decisions or the peer-review process. All manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their academic quality, originality, relevance, and compliance with the journal's editorial and ethical standards.

APC Waiver and Discount Policy

The International Journal of Business Strategy and Innovation recognizes that authors may have limited access to research and publication funding. To support researchers and promote wider participation in scholarly publishing, the journal may provide partial APC waivers or discounts to eligible authors based on their individual circumstances.

Students and Research Scholars

Students and research scholars without institutional or external publication funding may be eligible for a partial APC waiver or discount.

Authors requesting a waiver or discount may be asked to provide appropriate confirmation of their student or research scholar status and a declaration regarding the availability of publication funding.

Authors Without Publication Funding

Authors who do not have access to institutional, grant, or other publication funding may request a partial APC waiver or discount.

Each request will be considered individually based on the author's circumstances and available publication support.

Waiver Requests and Editorial Decisions

APC waiver or discount requests are handled independently of the editorial and peer-review process. The ability or inability of an author to pay publication charges does not influence the editorial decision, peer-review outcome, or acceptance or rejection of a manuscript.

How to Request a Waiver or Discount

Authors who wish to request a partial APC waiver or discount should contact the journal before or at the time of manuscript submission and briefly explain their circumstances.

Email: contact@stratnovapublication.com

Authors are encouraged to submit waiver or discount requests as early as possible to facilitate smooth publication processing following acceptance.

Transparency and Editorial Independence

Waiver and discount decisions are considered separately from the academic evaluation of manuscripts. Authors will not be disadvantaged or given preferential treatment because they request or receive an APC waiver or discount.

The journal remains committed to fairness, transparency, academic integrity, and editorial independence throughout the publication process.
